Civil War kepi and pin. Issued to an enlisted man in the Union Army, navy blue wool kepi cap features a black leather bill with squared edges. Measures 21.5'' around the inside. Accompanied by an ''Excelsior 14'' pin, measuring 3.5'' x 3'' in very good condition. Scattered abrasions and tiny points of rubbing and fabric loss to cap. Hatband and fasteners are absent, else near fine.
