Cuban law document signed ''Fidel Castro'' as Prime Minister. Dated 12 June 1959, typed document in Spanish calls the year, ''Ano de la Liberacion'', year of the liberation. It proposes Cuban ''Ley No. 382'', and translates in part, ''...The Minister of National Defense has requested the extension of certain appropriations contained in the budget for the Department of War...'' Document lists 13 lines and their corresponding costs for such expenses as wages, medical and surgical supplies, fuel, office supplies and general provisions, totaling $720,336.98. Document is signed over Castro's embossed seal in blue ink and countersigned by Dr. Manuel Urrutia as provisional Cuban president. A blue seal and ribbon are affixed to lower right. Measures 9'' x 13''. Toning and foxing, especially to edges. Filing holes and a chip to the left edge, else near fine.
