Volume one, ''Year of Decisions'' is inscribed upon the fly-leaf, ''To Mrs. Frances Parker Nattinger / kindest regards / from her Long Time Friend Harry Truman 5/29/57''. Volume covers the first use of atomic weaponry, the end of the war and the founding of the United Nations. Runs 596pp. Volume 2, ''Years of Trial and Hope'' covers the President's efforts for universal military training. It is inscribed upon the fly-leaf, ''With best wishes to / Mrs. Frances Parker Nattinger / from / Harry Truman / 5/29/57''. Runs 594pp. Both signed volumes are bound in black cloth boards with blue print and silver lettering. Each measures 5.75'' x 8.5''. Toning to endpapers, else books are near fine. With dustjackets showing toning, creasing and cracking. Price clipped, else very good.
