Letter reads in part, ''...introducing to you my friend...Mr. Corrie who wishes much to make your acquaintance & who you will find a well-informed gentleman...[signed] James Watt.'' Single-page letter on card-style stationery measures 4.5'' x 7''. Chip to corners of integral blank, else near fine.
