Darryl F. Zanuck's award for 1947 picture, ''Gentleman's Agreement''. Certificate, bestowed by The Abbe Institute honors Zanuck and ''...those who participated in [the film's] production...because it most conspicuously achieved the purpose of creating a spirit of understanding and tolerance, the highest purpose of education, during the year 1947...'' Gregory Peck starred in the picture as an investigative journalist who exposes antisemitism in New York and Connecticut. Elaborately decorated certificate is dated 23 January 1948 and matted and framed to an overall size of 13.5'' x 17.5''. Award has not been removed from frame but appears near fine. From the Daryl F.
