Dick Van Dyke screen worn flight jacket from 1968 musical film ''Chitty Chitty Bang Bang''. Teal plaid jacket was custom made for Van Dyke as Caractacus Potts, by famous Hollywood costume house Western Costume. The label sewn into the inside pocket has Van Dyke's name typed on it with production number 2427-1, with the number 1 on the end indicating this was the hero, or first jacket in line for use in shooting. Fully lined in teal fabric, jacket features a self belt and measures 18.5'' across the chest. High-quality handcrafted costume is in near fine condition.
