Wardrobe from ''The Cincinnati Kid'', produced for wear by AFI top 245 actor Edward G. Robinson. Robinson stars as master poker player Lancey ''The Man'' Howard in the 1965 picture. Three-piece brown pinstriped suit was custom tailored for Robinson by the MGM costumers as indicated by labels sewn into the jacket, vest and trousers. Labels are filled out ''E.G. Robinson'' and movie production number ''1833''. Comprises: (1) Double-breasted jacket in size 43, (2) double-breasted vest with two sets of pockets on each side with cream piping in size 43, and (3) cuffed trousers in size 34 x 25 with zip fly and buttons for suspenders. Dust to trousers, else handcrafted garments of high quality are in fine condition.
