Luminary actor Mickey Rooney Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor for his role in the 1979 film, ''The Black Stallion''. Certificate is signed and inscribed by Rooney to his wife Jan in black ink, ''Thank you Jan / For all your help, Love / your husband, me Mickey / Mickey Rooney''. Rooney played the memorable character ''Henry Dailey'', a retired horse jockey in the successful film.
