Royal invitation to Queen Victoria's Jubilee Thanksgiving Service. Unused invitation to Westminster Abbey for the festivities held 21 June 1887 is printed in various fonts, with a hand-gilded and hand-colored crown placed at top center. Double-sided invitation card features a map of the palace on verso and gilt border on both sides. Lord Chamberlain signs in print. Aesthetically appealing invitation measures 7.5'' x 4.75''. Some discoloration to border at lower right corner, else near fine.
