Rare White House china plate commissioned by President and First Lady Wilson. Made by Lenox, one of the United States' only producers of ''bone china'', which is distinguished for its white luminosity and chip resistance. Verso of plate features the famed Lenox official watermark, ''Exhibit Collection for Lenox Inc. / The White House 1918''. As a part of the ''exhibit collection'' which prominently displayed china in the White House or was offered on loan to various Presidential exhibits. Plate depicts the Great Seal of the U.S. at center in gilt, with a border of two gold bands. Plate measures 10.5'' in diameter and is in fine condition.
