Academy Awards membership roster for the 1941 Academy Awards, or the 14th ceremony. The ceremony is particularly memorable as it was the year in which "Citizen Kane" failed to win Best Picture. Pamphlet lists board members and active members, including actors Henry Fonda, Clark Gable and Gene Lockhart, producers, executives, writers, and a variety of technical experts, from sound to cinematography. Pamphlet is possibly a mock-up for the printer as it has edits in type throughout, including a change of date to ''February 27'' and with additional names that need to be added, including Ginger Rogers, Spring Byington, and director Victor Schertzinger. Runs 8pp., front and verso, and measures 6'' x 9.25'' with minor toning throughout. Very good condition.
