Bruce Lee owned and used jump rope. Lee was an outspoken advocate of skipping rope for cardiovascular fitness, touting its benefits in his book, published posthumously, ''Bruce Lee's Fighting Method'', Black Belt Communications: 1977. Woven rope operates on a ball bearing rotation as Lee recommends in the book. With contoured wooden handles and ''Made in U.S.A.'' appearing on the metal caps at the handle ends. Measures 96'' from end to end not including handles, which themselves measure 6.25'' in length. Soiling to rope, else near fine. From among the training equipment Lee gifted to Herb Jackson upon his move to Hong Kong. Jackson is well-documented as a builder of Lee's custom martial arts training equipment, a task he undertook as Lee's first generation Jeet Kune Do student and friend. With a COA from Jackson's son. Images arranged side by side are from pp. 18 of ''Bruce Lee's Fighting Method''.
