Orson Welles signed still photo from ''Citizen Kane.'' Welles, who was nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Charles Foster Kane, inscribes the photo in black marker: ''for Jerry S. Redlich / all best wishes / Orson Welles''. Also signed by Welles' co-star Joseph Cotton. The photo shares the frame with a plaque that provides background on the film itself and the moment in the story captured here: ''...In this pivotal scene, Kane reviews the objectives he composed for the first newspaper of his burgeoning empire...'' Photo measures 10'' x 8''. Fine. Fabric matted with gold burnished wood trim. Frame measures 17'' x 23''. Near fine. Originally from the Orson Welles February 1992 estate sale.
