Tippling cane from the personal estate of Orson Welles. The handle is a brass duck's head that unscrews to reveal a corked vial suitable for housing a shot of liquor or the concealer's substance of choice. A spring loading mechanism secures the vial. Black painted bands surround the closure at center where the two-piece oak cane assembles. Measures 35.5'' tall. Glass vial measures 5'' tall with a 0.75'' diameter. Some marks to the wood and tarnish to the brass, else fine. Originally from the Orson Welles February 1992 estate sale.
