Famed magician Harry Houdini typed letter signed, dated 14 July 1926 on his personal ''Houdini / 278 West 113th Street / New York, N.Y.'' stationery. Letter is addressed to a Miss Shadow Baldwin of San Francisco and reads in full: ''My dear Shadow: Glad to hear from you. The enclosed will no doubt interest you. You are right. The Spiritualists get along nicely without my assistance, and there you are! Sorry to hear you were not well, but hope you are now better. Mrs Houdini joins me in sending kind regards.'' Signed ''Houdini'' in pencil. Letter is typed in blue ink and measures 7'' x 5.5'', elegantly framed with a photo of Houdini to an overall size of 14.5'' x 22.5''. Some creasing to letter, else near fine condition.
