Original newspaper supplement advertising the publication of Buffalo Bill's then-forthcoming 1888 book, ''Story of the Wild West and Camp-Fire Chats by Hon. W.F. Cody, (Buffalo Bill)''. Newspaper on two pages, front and verso, highlights various scenes and anecdotes from the book, with 13 incredibly detailed illustrations. Lead-in caption of book teaser reads: ''In all the realms of romance nothing more weird or fascinating can be found than the story of our Western Frontier''. Newspaper is displayed open and housed in a 25'' x 20'' Plexiglas so as to see each side of the paper. Edges of paper have chipped in spots, overall very good condition.
