First American edition, first printing of J.K. Rowling's ''Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.'' New York: Scholastic Press: 2000. This was the first in the series to be published simultaneously in the U.K. and U.S. and the only one to win a Hugo Award for fantasy writing. In this book, Harry Potter competes in the Triwizard Tournament. The stated first edition, with original unclipped dustjacket, measures 6.25'' x 9.25'' and runs 734pp. Fine condition.
