Ronald Reagan signed first edition, first printing of his memoir ''An American Life.'' Simon & Schuster: New York: 1990. A Reagan Presidential bookplate affixed to the fly-leaf is signed ''Ronald Reagan'' clearly in black ink. Bound in red paper boards with a blue cloth spine lettered in gilt. Bears sequence 1-3-5-7-9-10-8-6-4-2 on the copyright page and has a ''Deluxe Ltd. Edition'' ISBN number. Runs 747pp. Measures 6.5'' x 9.5''. Book shows very light foxing to top edge and small piece of clear tape to the top of the front free endpaper, else near fine. Dustjacket is near fine, save for some price tag adhesive residue to the barcode and $24.95 price.
