Southwest Texas Teachers College 1929-1930 ''The Pedagog'' yearbook featuring Lyndon B. Johnson in his senior year. The future president is depicted in four separate photos, including his senior portrait on p. 37 with his achievements printed beside the photo: ''Lyndon B. Johnson / Johnson City / B.S. History, B.A. Club, Press Club, Student Council, Harris Blair, College Star, Pi Gamma Nu''. Other photos include Johnson as secretary of the Schoolmaster's Club, and as member of the College Star newspaper and Harris-Blair Literary Society. Without usual signatures, though previous owner notated Johnson's appearances in blue ink to title page. 238pp. yearbook measures 9.25'' x 12.25'' and is bound in maroon leather boards, with minor foxing and toning to end pages. Near fine.
