National Board of Review of Motion Pictures award. Prestigious award was presented to ''Nanking'', based on the 1937 massacre in Nanjing, China as one of the top 5 documentaries of 2007. The film went on to win the Peabody award the following year. The NBR was founded in 1909, nearly twenty years before the Oscars' parent organization, to circumvent government censorship of the new movie medium. Award is a concave sheet of beveled glass, printed with the organization's logo and customized for the film it honors. Measures 7.25'' x 6''. Fine.
