Revolutionary War general Robert Howe autograph letter signed. The Continental Army's Major General writes: ''Dear Sir / I forward the inclosed letter by the desire of our friend. If you wish to send an answer I go up to his quarters on or about twelve today...RHowe / Wednesday morning''. A notation to verso reads ''Letter from Genl Howe...''. Single-page undated letter measures 7.5'' x 9''. Toning, a touch of foxing, and partial separation to the central horizontal fold. Small pencil notation to top left. Very good condition.
