Dated 13 April 1971 from San Diego at The Salk Institute, Salk writes a kind letter, in part, ''Dear Mr. Robuck, I am sorry to learn of the misfortunes that have been your lot in life. I can only hope that prior to these there was fulfillment and satisfaction...'' 8.5'' x 11'' single page letter is in near fine condition.
