Press photo of the H-4 Hercules' 2 November 1947 flight, its first and last. Howard Hughes' flying boat made history as the largest such craft and was nicknamed the ''Spruce Goose'' for its wooden composition due to wartime rationing of metal. Black and white photo measures 8.5'' x 7''. Very good to near fine.
