Neil Armstrong typed letter signed on his personal stationery dated 9 April 1984. Addressed to David Goodwin, chairman of the Society of Model Aeronautical Engineers in England, the letter reads in part: ''...Thank you for your kind invitation to participate in the British National Model Flying Championships in August. Due to the responsibilities attendant to my own business, I am not accepting any additional engagements at this time...Neil Armstrong''. Single-page letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Creasing and light rippling to upper right, else near fine. With LOA from Martin Dilly, VP of the British Model Flying Association.
