Herbert Hoover typed letter signed, dated 2 July 1928 while Hoover was campaigning for President and serving as Commerce Secretary. Letter on ''Secretary of Commerce'' stationery is addressed to Mr. E.C. Brown at the Chicago Live Stock Exchange and reads: ''...I wish you would keep us advised as to the currents that go along through your very large connections. I would be glad to see you when you come down...'' Signed ''Herbert Hoover'' boldly in black ink. Card-style letter measures 7'' x 9''. Also includes original postmarked envelope. Very good.
