Yellow silk blouse made for Elizabeth Taylor for the 1950 noir film ''Mystery Street''. Taylor likely screen tested for a role or perhaps was recast, as typed label bears that film's production number as well as Taylor's name. Short-sleeved blouse snaps around the waist and buttons up the front, with buttons concealed by a ruffle. Approximately size XS. One button is missing. Near fine given age. Originally acquired from the famous MGM Archives Sale, held in 1970 to free up space on the studio lot that had been occupied by the thousands of costumes and props used in MGM pictures over the years.
