Marilyn Monroe personally owned blouse. Monroe's long-sleeved blouse is a light yellow material which buttons up the front by concave mother of pearl buttons. Jax brand blouse is an approximate size medium in good condition, with stains of unidentified origin to the left sleeve and between the second and third buttons. There is a more prominent brown stain, possibly blood, at the hem at center along the bottom. Some general overall discoloration to fabric. With provenance and tags from Christie's auction of the Personal Property of Marilyn Monroe, held 27 and 28 October 1999, Lot 103.
