Stunning evening bag once owned by Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. This lovely vintage metal mesh purse has a gold rimmed flap and a soft single removable strap. The outer material is gold metal with silver metal intertwined in an intricate scrolled design. The lining is of gold satin, and has ''Made In France'' stamped on the inside pocket. Some wear to handle, with slight discoloring to bottom, else a luxurious bag in very good condition. With provenance from Christie's 2004 sale of the Property of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor.
