Interesting sketch of Pluto's orbit by Clyde Tombaugh, the astronomer who found the dwarf planet. Hand-drawn in pencil and blue pen upon an 8.5'' x 11'' piece of cardstock. Tombaugh illustrates Pluto's irregular orbit by marking its position in 1930 when he discovered it, and its position in 1989, at which time it was closer to the sun than the planet Neptune, whose orbit Tombaugh also draws. Inscribed upon the bottom, ''To Norm Schwab / with my personal hand drawing / Clyde W. Tombaugh / 25 Feb 1991''. Fine.
