Rare WWII vintage 3-D Nazi book set, with book and stereograph viewing kit. German language book's title translates to, ''Greater Germany's Rebirth, World History Time on the Danube''. Book contains 87pp. of Nazi propaganda and rhetoric, including 8 pictorial pieces mounted to heavier paper pages within. Images include a print of the famous B. Jacobs 1933 portrait of Hitler in Nazi regalia. Hardcover book features slots in the board interiors, into which 67 stereograph cards and a pair of 3-D glasses sit. Book is bound in red cloth boards with gilt lettering, measuring 8'' x 11.5''. Vast assortment of fascinating stereograph photos include images of Hitler on a balcony and greeting children, hordes of supporters gathered at SS parades saluting the Fuhrer, landmark architecture and shots of the mountainous German landscape. Each card measures 5'' x 2'' and slips into a collapsible viewing slot built into the 3-D glasses. Fully-functional glasses by Raumbild-Verlaq / Ges. Gesch measure 6'' x 2.5''. Set is in very good condition overall, save for some white paint flecks to rim of glasses and a speck on the left lens not interfering with view; absence of backstrip and wear to book exterior with some gilt loss to title and chip to the front free endpaper. 67 stereograph cards are numbered between 1-100, therefore 33 cards are absent. Overall a captivating visual glimpse into Nazi Germany.
