Jim Henson handwritten characterization of ''The Musician'' from his pitch for an early Muppets' television appearance. Henson's colorful characters entertained in a guest starring capacity on a Herb Alpert television special that aired on 13 October 1974. Henson writes: ''The Musician / Life size - slightly inebriated - could be part of band''. Henson has affixed a pair of Polaroids of The Musician posing and making faces with beloved early Muppet puppeteer Richard Hunt. Single-page characterization measures 6.75'' x 10.5''. Framed inside a transparent acrylic case equipped for wall mounting to an overall size of 10.5'' x 14.5''. Toning to paper and fading to ink and photos, else near fine.
