John Wayne production-used first aid kit from ''The Green Berets,'' his 1968 Vietnam War film. Fully stocked kit was supplied for the film by the U.S. government from WWII-era supplies. This was the only Wayne film for which the government issued official property. Khaki green canvas case bears U.S. Medical Corps insignia on the top flap. To underside of flap is print reading, ''6545-912-0625 / CASE, FIRST AID KIT, EMPTY / 120-67-C-1075''. Case contains (1) a pair of sealed cardboard boxes labeled, ''Dressing, First Aid, Field, / Individual Troop, Camouflaged''; (2) a ''First Aid Packet / Sterilized'' box; (3) a ''Bandage, Adhesive'' packet; (4) a ''Sodium Chloride - Sodium Bicarbonate Mixture'' packet; (5) sealed ''Bandage, Gauze''; (6) small bottle labeled ''Benzalkonium Chloride Tincture, Tinted''; and (7) clear plastic pill bottle. Kit measures 5'' x 2.5'' x 5''. Fine condition. With a COA from John Wayne Enterprises, run by Ethan Wayne.
