FBI director J. Edgar Hoover's ''J. Edgar on Communism'' signed first edition. Published by Random House Inc.: New York: 1969. Hoover signs ''To Malcolm B. Johnson / Best Wishes / J. Edgar Hoover / 6.26.69'' on the the front free endpaper. The long time FBI director was fervently anti-communist and this book is a collection of his speeches and writings selected by him to create the definitive Hoover appraisal of communism. The 6'' x 8.5'' volume is near fine and the dustjacket is very good.
