Charming typed letter signed by Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. The author of such beloved children's classics as ''The Cat in the Hat'' and ''The Lorax'' writes to his friend Diddo Clark, upon his personal stationery. 4 October 1971 letter reads in full: ''Dear Diddo, Thank you for the prospectus of your autumnal activities. I will be delighted to be with you on Tuesday, November 16. I hope you will please drop me a note shortly before that telling me where to appear and when. [signed] Ted Geisel''. Single page on pale blue paper measures 7'' x 10.5''. Creasing, else near fine.
