''The Buffalo Express'' 14 September 1901 reporting on the death of President McKinley, who was shot by Leon Czolgosz at a Buffalo event on the 6th. The front page article gives a complete account of the President's last day. Though Teddy Roosevelt became President the same day, that news is not reflected in the headlines. Interestingly, Robert Peary's Arctic expedition did make front page news. Separation to folds of 17'' x 23'' twelve page newspaper, else very good condition.
