She writes to her sister-in-law, ''Dearest Loretta...Joe has been in Chicago for the last two weeks, and of course as you can imagine we are very happy about Jack. Naturally, he spends most of his time in Boston now...[signed] Rose''. John F. Kennedy was elected into the House of Representatives just days before the letter. 7.25'' x 10.5'' letter upon Hyannisport stationery is lightly toned with paperclip marks, else very good condition.
