Written to cartoonist Gib Crockett, letter reads in part: ''...Plans are proceeding nicely for the Cartoonists Convention in May...I hope you can make your plans to arrive in Austin on Wednesday and stay through for the banquet on Saturday night, as we want to show you some real Texas hospitality...'' Signed ''LBJ'', letter measures 7'' x 9'' on one page. Includes original postmarked envelope. Near fine.
