Benjamin Harrison letter signed ''Benj Harrison'' just two weeks after leaving The White House, on his personal black-bordered Indianapolis letterhead, dated 20 March 1893. Addressed to a Lloyd Brice in New York City, letter reads in part: ''...I cannot think of writing anything for some time at least. The work of restoring my house and grounds and the arrangement of my papers will furnish me full occupation during the spring months. If I should find myself in the humor to write something I will let you know.'' Card-style letter on 1pp. measures 5'' x 8'' with writing on cover of card. Smoothed fold along center creating a 1'' tear, else near fine. Pre-certified by PSA.
