Political nomination boldly signed by Queen Elizabeth II just one year after her coronation. Document, dated 16 November 1954, nominates Sir Frank Kenyon Roberts ''in the character of Our Ambassador...at Belgrade'' and is signed ''Elizabeth R'' in the upper right. Countersigned by Anthony Eden, who would become Prime Minister in 1955. 21'' x 16.5'' document is beautifully calligraphed ''Elizabeth the Second'' along the top. Near fine condition.
