Arthur Ashe's personally owned suit. Navy blue double-breasted jacket and pants bear the label of French designer to the stars Pierre Balmain's New York boutique. Suit is unsized but the tennis champion stood 6'1 and remained slim throughout his life. He was the first black tennis player to win the U.S. Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon. Near fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
