Arthur Ashe personally owned pair of prescription aviator eyeglasses. Ashe was known for his glasses he wore both on and off the court, sporting a variety of styles in his illustrious career. ''Robert Marc'' brand sunglasses feature a thin tortoise shell frame and are distinct in their aviator 70's style shape. Glasses measure 5.25'' x 2'' with a slight tint to the lenses. Some beige flecks of beige residue are stuck to the shades, presumably from the inside of the original leather case, which is also included. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
