Award base presented to Arthur Ashe from the National Urban League for Equal Opportunity Day. Trapezoid wooden base features engraved front plate that reads ''Athlete, Author and Activist / For Outstanding Contributions Toward the National Urban League Goal of Equal Opportunity.'' Award is dated 17 November 1992. Top of base contains area to set additional award piece, not included. Base measures 6.5'' x 3.25'' and 2.5'' high. Tarnish to front plate, overall very good condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
