Arthur Ashe trophy as 1976 Aetna World Cup MVP. By 1976 Ashe had become an icon of tennis and civil rights, having won the U.S. Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon as the first black competitor to do so. Silver trophy bowl is engraved, ''Most Valuable Player / Aetna World Cup / Presented by / Cystic Fibrosis Foundation / 1976''. Measures 6'' in diameter across the mouth and 3.25'' in height, with a 3.5'' diameter foot. Tarnishing, else near fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
