World Championship of Tennis finalist medal presented to Arthur Ashe. Medal features two tennis players on the front and is engraved ''World Championship of Tennis'' along the top edge and ''Arthur Ashe'' in the center. Verso shows a relief of a trophy and reads ''1974'' and ''Finalist'' along the top and bottom edges. Verso also includes the names of the 39 participating countries in the tennis circuit. Ashe participated in a number of tournaments during the 1974 circuit, winning two and coming in as a finalist at three. Medal measures 4'' in diameter. Accompanied by a red hinged leather case. Near fine condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
