Arthur Ashe's personally owned copy of the 15 April 1968 issue of ''Newsweek'' covering Martin Luther King's death. Magazine cover has a mailing label affixed, addressed in print to ''Lt. Arthur R. Ashe Jr.'' Ashe was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army at the time. Measures 8.5'' x 11''. Toning and some creasing to corners, else near fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
