The key players in one of the most famous moments in baseball history, Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca signed baseball. Branca pitched and Thomson hit, in the classic event known as the ''Shot Heard Round the World'' that clinched the 1951 National League Pennant for the New York Giants. An ink notation, likely by Branca, reads simply: ''The 50th''. Fading to Branca's signature, else Rawlings ball is in near fine condition. From the personal estate of that game's winning pitcher Larry Jansen, with a COA from his son.
