The rival teams played a three-game series for the NL pennant: the Giants won the first game, and when the Dodgers won this game, the stage was set for the most thrilling moment in baseball history, the ''Shot Heard Round the World.'' This ticket admits its bearer to the 2 October playoff game, held at the Polo Grounds in Manhattan, seat 5 in Box 5E. Ticket is printed ''PO-1'', meaning the first playoff game hosted by that venue.
