Full ticket to game 2 of the legendary 1951 National League playoff series between the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers. The rival teams played a three-game series for the NL pennant: the Giants won the first game, and when the Dodgers won this game, the stage was set for the most thrilling moment in baseball history, the ''Shot Heard Round the World.'' This ticket admits its bearer to the 2 October playoff game, held at the Polo Grounds in Manhattan, seat 5 in Box 5E. Ticket is printed ''PO-1'', meaning the first playoff game hosted by that venue. The first game of the series took place at Ebbets Field. Measures 6.25 x 1.75''. Very good to near fine. Encapsulated and graded 6 by PSA.
