Ernest Seton-Thompson autograph letter signed. The nature author and boy scout founder dates his letter 1899, the year he published ''The Trail of The Sandhill Stag.'' It reads in part: ''Dear Mr. Ben Young / We are just in receipt of the most...beautiful new announcement I EVER SAW...Ernest Seton-Thompson''. He adds a flourish beneath his name and, fittingly, draws a paw print on the right. Single-page letter on card-style stationery measures 5'' x 6.25''. Scattered pencil notations, with a crease through the center, else near fine.
