Early edition of Adolf Hitler's ''Mein Kampf,'' his autobiography combined with political ideology. Munich: Franz Eher Nachfolger: Volume 1 1927, Volume II 1928. The book, written while Hitler was imprisoned for attempting to overthrow the Bavarian government at gunpoint, was published in two volumes, the first in 1925, the second in 1926. ''Mein Kampf,'' which translates as ''My Struggle,'' is part promotional material for the National Socialist German Workers' Party and part autobiographical, with emphasis upon the perceived Jewish persecution of the German people. Minor soiling, fading and edge wear to 6'' x 9'' volumes bound in publisher's red cloth with white lettering; moderate separation of pages at bindings. No dustjacket. Overall very good.
