Bram Stoker handwritten letter on Lyceum Theatre stationery, signed by Henry Irving. Stoker, the author of ''Dracula,'' based the title character on Irving, for whom he worked at the Lyceum. Dated 30 September 1896, it reads in part: ''...Dear Mr. Berlyn / Many thanks for the paragraph in the World. It is as you say necessary to remind some people that the history of the Lyceum did not begin with their interest in theatrical affairs...'' 2pp. on card-style stationery measures 5'' x 8''. Toning and tape to interior at the top edge. Very good.
